Description of Executive Board positions
President – Runs the PTO meetings, oversees the general PTO calendar to ensure that timelines are met, collaborates with school administrators to keep an open line of communication between the school and parents.  Works with other board members to organize activities and events and follow PTO bylaws and school policies.
Vice President – Assists the President, chairpersons, and school personnel and performs any duties in the president’s absence.
Treasurer – Keeps track of all finances of the PTO. Maintains records of cash flow and works with the bank to keep the account up to date.
Co-Treasurer – Assists the Treasurer in financial responsibilities.
Secretary – Records minutes of the Executive Board and PTO General Meetings; may prepare monthly newsletter and other PTO correspondence.
Volunteer Coordinator – Establishes and maintains relationships with parents, local high schools, and other organizations that may volunteer for PTO events; coordinates all aspects of volunteer scheduling for PTO events.
